Blue Port: FUCK U

Im August leuchtet es von Hamburgs Barkassen, Kränen und Dächern wieder neonblau; wie inzwischen regelmäßig, wenn der Lichtkünstler Michael Batz den Hamburger Hafen und unseren Kiez illuminiert. Ausgerechnet blau!
Für mich immer noch ein Moment des Schmunzelns; über den kreativen Protest am Hafenrand von 2012: FUCK U als Protestillumination gegen die überbordende Eventisierung unseres Viertels.
Das bleibt auch 2014 richtig gut! 😉

Events, events and more events.. No weekend without fireworks and official street parties: Hamburg Cruise Days, Hamburg Harbour Days, Hamburg Harley Days, Hamburg Marathon, Hamburg Triathlon, Hamburg Cyclassics, Hamburg whatever…
These events, more and more designed only for national and international competition, but not for local residents, start enerving the local population of Hamburg St. Pauli and Altona. Not that everybody would know a city is loud and packed, but what’s organised for the residents? Are they asked? Do they have a choice?
Some local residents showed their anger on the last Hamburg Blue Port-Cruise days event.
